MEXICAN SANDIES 1 cup butter 1/2 cup sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups flour 1 cup chopped pecans Powdered sugar
Cream butter and sugar. Mix in vanilla and flour. Stir in pecans. Divide dough into five balls and chill for at least an hour. Divide each ball into 10-12 small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, pressing each cookie slightly with your thumb. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. BE SURE TO NOT OVERCOOK! Remove from oven and roll in powdered sugar.
